Duties & Responsibilities
Proactively responding to enquiries from the public, fundraising groups, volunteers, Community Fundraisers and other SHA staff, including following up and resolving enquiries on the telephone, by mail and in person;
Assisting the team in delivering National Campaigns at a local level ensuring activities are run effectively, are well planned, marketed and supported;
Supporting local, regional and national fundraising activities and events;
Ensuring that accurate and up to date financial and supporter records are maintained and accessible;
Assisting the team in developing supporters.
Skills / Abilities
Good level of IT, including the ability to use MS word, MS excel, MS outlook and a working knowledge of databases.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good customer service and telephone skills.
Personal organisation and time management
Understanding of general office systems and procedures.
Qualifications, training and education:
Five National 5s or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
Demonstrable literacy and numeracy.
Previous contact with the public (face to face or phone)
