Post: Modern Apprentice
Location: Various Office-Based Positions
2 Highers at Grade C or above. Core skills at SCQF Level 4.
To contribute to the services' improvement plan while acquiring skills/knowledge appropriate with the aims and objectives of the Council and the relevant SVQ to Level 3.

To adhere to the Council's commitment to health and safety, maximising attendance, equal opportunities and compliance with all relevant policies.
It is desirable that modern apprentices are computer literate and have knowledge and experience of computer software packages.
It is essential that modern apprentices have good interpersonal and communication skills. It is also desirable that they have the ability to work both as a team member and on their own initiative.
Successful candidates will undertake an SVQ Level 3 in the appropriate occupational area. Full in-house training will be given in all software programmes deemed appropriate to service functions.
Hours of work are:
Monday - Thursday: 8.45am - 4.45pm
Friday: 8.45am - 3.55pm
