Student Awards Agency for Scotland are an agency of the Scottish Government giving financial support to eligible students doing a course of higher education in the UK.
They receive over 150,000 applications annually from undergraduate and postgraduate students as well as applications for Disabled Student Allowance, the NHS Bursary Scheme and the Part-time Fee Grant. Renfrewshire educational trust
The Renfrewshire Educational Trust makes grants for educational purposes, including travel, music and the arts, to individual schools within Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire and Inverclyde areas. Awards are usually between £400-£750, taking into account the financial crcumstancs of the applicants.
Applicants need to have resided in these areas for at least 3 years. Applicants having moved out of these areas in order to study will also be considered. Funding is available for applicants undertaking Higher education, a second degree or who show exceptional promise in vocal or instrumental music. the prince's trustThe Prince's Trust are a funding organisation that help people aged 13-30 to make changes in their life. The trust can help financially support you with free training courses, brand new experiences, support and mentoring.

Time to shine fund
Creative Scotland’s 'Nurturing Talent – Time to Shine Fund' aims to support young people aged 14-20 to develop their creative skills in one of the following areas.
- Drama
- Dance
- Music
- Visual Arts
- Literature
- Digital Arts
Anyone aged 14-20, living in Scotland can apply. Individuals can apply for up to £200 in funding while groups of two or more people can apply for up to £750.
The fund provides financial support to help nurture talent in a number ways. From recording a demo with your band, to putting on an exhibition of your own artwork, financially supporting your auditioning to a drama school and lots more in between.
