The Apprenticeship Programmes allow apprentices to work full time and have the opportunity to earn while they learn and to put theory into practice within an automotive training environment.
As well as attending the training centre for week block release of training, regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace which aims to ensure they have the required skills to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
What might a typical day in this job look like?
You will be based in the paint shop and will learn all aspects of preparing vehicle surfaces for masking, priming and painting before buffing and polishing the paintwork of the panel to suitable finish.
What will I learn?
Regular assessment and reviews will be undertaken within the apprentice's own workplace which aims to ensure they have the required skills to successfully complete their apprenticeship.
You will train through GTG to SVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Parts Distribution.
What qualification or qualities are required?
You must have or expect to gain Standard Grade English, Maths, and a Science or Craft subject, at Credit or General Level or National 4 or above, Intermediates are also accepted.
It is essential that you are literate, numerate, reliable and keen to learn.

Assist Florist with designing and fashioning live, cut, dried, and artificial flowers and foliage.
Assist with the selection of flora and foliage; trimming materials; arranging bouquets, sprays, wreaths, dish gardens, terrariums, and helping with other related duties as required by florist

No qualifications required but must have an interest in learning floristry

Keen and interested in learning
A passion for flowers and excellent customer service skills.
Successful applicant must be keen and interested to undertake all aspects of floristry, including funerals & weddings. must be able to work to a high standard and on their own initiative & ideally have at experience working in a retail environment
